Have just sent a review of the show you gave at Bembridge last Saturday. It's in Contact. What I said was that your performance was top class, had us laughing long after the show had finished and how
much we enjoyed genuine comedy and entertainment without sexual innuendoes and foul language. Well done, have Facebooked you to family and friends as a name to look out for.

James Bee..?? We met at Harry Lymes (I think that\'s what it was at the time..) back in Dec 1996 for a local radio song contest. The act I worked with (Julie Maguire) came a close second. Good to see
you\'re still performing, pal. Looking forward to the Mel and Sue song tomorrow... (Yeah, I don\'t get out much..) Enjoy it; they\'re brilliant.

Just returned from a weekend at Mill Rythe where he was a surprise addition to the entertainment. He is a cross between Bill Bailey and Ken Dodd with his own unique talent thrown in. Haven\'t laughed

Arnold was superb at our recent ICPA conference and had a room full of boring Accountants singing along and laughing out loud. Even the "Tweeting" American enjoyed the show. Seriously if you have a
corporate event due Book this guy and enjoy.

'Arnold'; It would have been about '75. You and your lads were performing a gig in The Cabmans Rest, Somerstown, Portsmouth.

I was probably 18 and no 'Gangsta'. My two year older sister was the bar maid.

Middle of your performance, she asked me to get her a packet of fags.

From the wall mounted machine. Just to the left of your crews stage area.

As I shyly tried to slip in, you announced:

" AND NOW; A SOLO ON THE FAG MACHINE ....! "

And your boys spontaneously gave me a beat. I nearly cried with laughter!

The pub roared! Billy Connelly couldn't have done better! You were already A Legend!

That's a purely genuine memory, mate. One I'll treasure, and cry with laughter about, for as long as I live!

    Thanks.

Some recent comments in "The Stage" newspaper

"It was a relief therefore for the stage to be taken by a proper funny man, Arnold Gutbucket, who proceeded to take over the compering duties for the rest of the night. He is unique, but his oddball approach works because he does it with warmth. Abstract and clever, he says and sings some pretty outrageous things but gets away with it.
The National Anthem sung to the tune of EastEnders was gloriously disrespectful but hilarious."

"Describing Arnold Gutbucket purely as comedy gives no clues as to the fabulous eccentricity of the man. Really original comedians have always been thin on the ground and the likes of Mr Gutbucket are light entertainment treasures.
He’s a fine raconteur, sings delightfully silly songs and knows how to work an audience to maximum effect.

Great fun."
